Meet Kim
Kim’s love of design was developed at an early age. Growing up in London, England, with young creative parents, her childhood was spent traveling the world with her model-actor father. She then followed in her father's footsteps becoming a Ford Model in her teens and early twenties. Drawing inspiration from extensive travels, fashion and art, she established her residential and commercial design firm 15 years ago working with a sophisticated clientele in the New York Metro area. She has spent the last three years working on projects in Discovery Land Company's exclusive private resort clubs Silo Ridge, in New York's Hudson Valley and Baker's Bay in the Bahamas.
Known for the simplicity of her fresh and classic American style, her work reflects her love of art as well as her desire to make all her spaces sanctuaries for her clients.
She skillfully incorporates old elements and new, layering materials and textures that integrate and unite the architecture with the design of each project. Her designs always have a sense of place.
She consults very closely with her clients from the earliest stages of a project and tailors each project to their personalities and lifestyles. Her team works hard to make the design process as seamless as possible. By guiding them through the design process, their goal is to create special spaces for families to live in and enjoy. As life continues to get busier and busier, she finds herself creating more and more serene, relaxed environments that calm and renew her client's spirits.
Kim has a Fine Arts Degree from New York University, and continued her education at the New York School of Interior Design.
